I am using the Pioneer DDJ-400 with Djay (recent paid subscription version) on an iPad and twice now on gigs the audio output from the DDJ-400 stopped during the set and it was just silence. Djay never crashes and the audio meters light up in Djay but the meters on the DDJ-400 stop and no sound comes out. This happens about 2-3 hours into my set. Helpful tutorials for DDJ-SX2? I finally opened up the the DDJ-SX2 I bought a few weeks ago (been swamped with school + life) and I'm wondering if anyone knows of some tutorial videos that would help me learn all of the functions of the SX2. Does the Pioneer DDJ-SX2 controller work well with Virtual DJ Pro? It's listed on the VDJ compatible hardware webpage, and on the installation instructions page (links below). The pictures on the VDJ page actually show the DSJ-SX2 with the Serrato logo on it. I want this controller but wanted to.

Algoriddim’s djay Pro software for Mac is now compatible with the entire Pioneer DDJ series of controllers. The just-released djay Pro 1.2 natively supports the DDJ-SB, DDJ-SR, DDJ-SX, DDJ-SX2, and the DDJ-SZ, the big takeaway meaning you can now spin tunes directly from Spotify using these controllers.

Also included in the update is support for the Numark Mixtrack 3, Mixtrack Pro 3, and N4, as well as new touchpad multi-touch gestures that let you control djay Pro like a touchscreen device, making laptop-only DJing fare more comfortable.

We’re quite excited for this update because we’ve long wanted to take djay Pro out for a spin at gigs, but none of our pro controllers were supported yet (I’ve been using a DDJ-SR for over a year now).
