If you haven't already heard, Mixxx 2.0 was released the other day.Among many new improvements are included mappings for the Pioneer DDJ-SB and DDJ-SB2.Support was also added for another cheap controller that may interest beginners, the Electrix Tweaker which costs only $100 with a free case but doesn't have a built-in sound card. Mixxx was started in early 2001 as one of the first digital DJ systems. Today Mixxx includes many features common to digital DJ solutions, but also some very unique features. Futhermore Mixxx has a number of key features to help the DJ in the live mix: Beat estimation, parallel visual displays, and support for many DJ input controllers. Hercules Dj Controller
The Hercules DJ Control MP3 e2, MP3 LE, and Glow are USB controllers that have identical controls and share the same mapping. These controllers do not have a built in sound card, so a splitter cable or separate sound card is recommended for use with it. They are not class compliant MIDI devices.
