Serato DJ and Serato DJ Intro do not currently support Mac OS X El Capitan (10.11).

We do not recommend updating to El Capitan. We are currently investigating some early reports of serious compatibility issues with hardware connectivity and audio. We're working hard to ensure stability with this OS as soon as possible and there will be updates that add support in the near future.

• Rane/Serato gave up on the SL1 some time ago. Unfortunately, Catalina was a bit of a curveball for serato team so I doubt scratch live will function at all. I'd say dust off one of the old comp and use it exclusively for Scratch Live. Otherwise looks like theres a work around that could potentially do it.

Ultimately, I want to be able to download, store and access through itunes all my music on my main partition running el capitan, but to be able to play it in SSL with the library read from itunes in my new partition running Yosemite, without having multiple copies of the same files on the different partitions. It simply isn’t compatible sl1 serato the new operating systems and some hardware within newer computers. Talk about Serato DJ Pro, expansion packs and supported hardware. I am assuming I will have to have the apps installed on both OS logins.

Are there any workaround solution or any suggest if possible? The only minor issue I did notice is that every so often you’d get sl1 serato quick half-second sl1 serato from the song, as if someone bumped into the DJ booth sort of thing, so definitely nothing serious.

I’m betting your future will not be so bright should you keep up with such practices. I’ve been on the phone with Apple since yesterday. Just make sure you do a regular back up of your sl1 serato HD to another HD. Just wondering if this is true and I need to make other arrangements for future sessions.
